WHAT WE DO

Construction Manager

Empowering Skills. Building Futures.

Our curriculum — the Associated Builders & Contractors (ABC) Pathway 2 Build — has received official approval as a pre-apprenticeship core program by the Pennsylvania Department of Labor’s Apprenticeship & Training Office.

ABC of Western PA’s “Pathway 2 Build” Pre-Registered Apprenticeship Program broadens construction trade training access to tackle Western PA’s skilled labor shortage.

The program offers the National Center for Construction Education & Research (NCCER) Core curriculum, which grants advanced standing and valuable, stackable credentials. It appeals to diverse candidates seeking cost-effective education, job prospects and tuition reimbursement.

Your Blueprint for Success

Nine Point Nine’s program is enhanced with hands-on jobsite experience, including workshops and local off-site training experiences which complement the standard ABC classroom and hands-on testing curriculum.

In addition to your coursework, women who are currently working in the construction trades offer real-world insights and inspiration. These exciting sessions feature practical advice, motivational guidance, and career experience stories.

When you graduate from our comprehensive 9-week instruction program, you’ll have the fundamental skills and knowledge you need to enter non-traditional apprenticeship programs or land an entry-level job working in skilled trade positions.

Trade Skills. Real Results.

You will earn several industry-recognized, portable credentials through NCCER, including:

  • Core Completion Certificate

  • Intro to the Construction Industry

  • Construction Site Safety Certificate

  • OSHA-10 Certification

  • CPR/First Aid/AED Certification
