Our comprehensive nine-week training program is focused on the construction trades. Tuition is entirely free** for participants.

The Nine Point Nine coursework also features:

Workshop Projects, including the "She Shed" project

**Our program is designed to be free for all accepted applicants, subject to the availability of Workforce Development grant funding.
Nuts & Bolts
Sessions run from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Our 2024 planned schedule accommodates the needs of parents with school-age children and allows employed students to work evening shifts. Each cohort will be limited to 20 students, ensuring a personalized learning experience at our initial location, the HOPECat Center in Sharon, PA.

January 6, 2025 - March 7, 2025
Spring Cohort:
March 17, 2025 - May 16, 2025
Summer Cohort:
June 9, 2025 - August 8, 2025
Fall Cohort:
August 18, 2025 - October 17, 2025
Applicants must be approved for the pre-apprenticeship training program offered by Associated Builders & Contractors of Western Pennsylvania. You must be 18 years of age or older, according to industry standards and legal requirements for participation in construction-related trades, and must show a minimum educational requirement of a High School Diploma or GED.
